Amelia Roberts, a Chattanooga native, brings over 25 years of legal experience to her clients. A proud graduate of Hixson High School, she earned her B.A. from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga before obtaining her Juris Doctor from the University of Cincinnati College of Law in 1999 as a distinguished Chapin-Thomas Scholar.
Throughout her career, Amelia has successfully litigated thousands of bankruptcy cases, in addition to handling numerous family law, personal injury, and civil rights matters. Her practice is focused on providing comprehensive legal solutions in these areas, with a deep commitment to advocating for her clients' rights. . Amelia's dedication to the legal community has also led her to serve as a Special Judge in the Hamilton County General Sessions Court.
Amelia has been instrumental in securing justice for her clients, including representing families in two landmark civil rights cases that resulted in the largest settlements ever paid by the City of Chattanooga at the time. Additionally, she is a formidable appellate attorney, having secured a pivotal victory for injury victims in the Tennessee Supreme Court against Wal-Mart, setting a significant legal precedent.
